Two Thirds of New Mobile Buyers Now Opting For Smartphones

Recent sales figures from Nielsen group reports that 2 out of 3 Americans who acquired a new mobile phone in the last three months chose a smartphone instead of a feature phone.

Windows Phone seems to be stuck at 1.3 percent (versus 2.9 percent represented by the old Windows Mobile-renamed-Phone), which really makes you wonder if there is place at all for this “third eco system.”
