My name is Johan Sanneblad. I’m 36 years old, and live with my wife Helena and daughter Emma in Göteborg, Sweden. I have a strong passion for mobile devices and mobile services, and have worked full time with mobile solutions since 1999. My specialist focus is on the Apple iPhone and Microsoft Windows Mobile platforms. Over the years I have worked as senior architect and project manager for both platforms, ranging from designing novel 3D games for the iPhone to developing robust mobile enterprise solutions for companies such as Nokia, Skype, Sony Ericsson and Sony Online Entertainment.
I have a background in the academics. In 2005 I took my Ph.D in Applied Mobile IT. My thesis is based on two software platforms I created during my years as a researcher and several dozens of applications that were built on these platforms. My platforms have been used by companies such as Nokia, Skype, Sony Ericsson and Sony Online Entertainment.
I have a background as entrepreneur. In 1999 I and five others started the company Diadrom, a company initially focusing exclusively on mobile application development. In 2003, a few years later, I started my second company Develant Technologies AB that sells one of the platforms I created as a researcher: GapiDraw. GapiDraw has this far been used in over 200 mobile applications and is the leading platform for high performance Windows Mobile graphics.
I have a background as consultant. In the 90’s I worked for Cap Gemini as a systems designer, developing Java middleware solutions for companies such as Ericsson, SAAB and Volvo Cars. In 2005 I begun working for the IT consultancy company HiQ, where I now focus on enterprise mobile and telematics solutions for large-scale implementations. Some of the companies I have worked for at HiQ include Skype, Sony Ericsson, Telia, Volvo Cars and Volvo Group.
About My Blog
In this blog I will collect my thoughts on mobile events and mobile applications. It’s not a gadget blog, more of a mobile trend blog. Since I love and use Mac computers in my daily work there might sneak in the occasional Mac news item in there as well.
